When I got home from work today, THAT stray dog was BACK!!! I guess Sarah loved him up too much! I called the pound but never heard from them. Then about 5:30 Mark Thompson who lives up Dry Coulee about 2 miles from here called and asked if his dog was here. He got him about 2 months ago and when he goes to work (he drives school bus) the dog tries to follow him. So at least now we know who the dog belongs to. I don't know if he'll keep him. I think he doesn't want to have to hunt for him all the time. He said he came and got him here yesteday too. Why do they come here???

I just spent the most wonderful weekend in Spokane. Went with three friends and we shopped ( :-) ) went to a great buffet, saw a movie, Ice Age 2, and then on Saturday went to Time Out for Women. It was so great. The speakers were....Virginia Pearce, Dean Hughes, Joseph McConkie and Sharon Larson. There was music by Cherie Call and the host was Michael McLean. He
s great. They were all great. They provided a lunch for us also. This was held at the Spokane Opera House. The only downside was Thursday night I was so excited to go that I woke up at 3:30 and couldn't go back to sleep. I think we all got about 5 hours sleep that night and then we stayed in a motel and only go about 5 hours sleep Friday night too. So we were all tired. I sure would like this to be a yearly thing. What a shot in the arm!!!

Well Tip is gone. I called the "Animal Control" officer yesterday and he called me again last night. He thinks he knows the owner of this dog who lives on Johnson Creek on the Omak Flats. So he is going to take the dog to him. If he can't find him, he is taking him to a dog shelter in Tonasket called "Howling Ridge". The thing is, Sarah made him so happy here, I'm afraid he'll try to find his way back!!!;-(

Why does this always happen to US??? Yesterday, this dog showed up. Very friendly, sweet and playful but do I want another dog? No!!!! Of course, having Sarah here playing and loving and spending all of her time with the dog , who has been named Tip( she doesn't want to do anything else). It has a collar with two phone #'s on it, Yakima numbers!!! They act like the dog is someone elses. So we keep getting the runaround. The Animal Foster place is closed until the weekend. So here he is!
