Bye Bye Food Depot
It will be so strange not to have our grocery store here anymore. This will be one of the many empty stores in our town of Okanogan to be sitting empty. Omak is doing well with businesses but not Okanogan. It is sad although I must admit I didn't shop here much because their prices are so high. It was convenient for little stuff.

The bakery......
What will they do with the building?
We are hoping another grocery store goes in but who knows. They are selling all the fixtures so we put our name in for some of the bakery tables, etc. A lot of people have put in their names though. This is me, mom

Ah man, this is the place we went all dressed up last summer!
When Helen and I used to come here on visits wwe could not believe the high prices at Food Depot - that was what really did them jn - when people could shop at Walmart.
i know i was just gonna say that brendi! good memories there! thats the place we dressed up really weird and went throught the store yelling "we're diane robinson's grandkids!!" just kidding...but we did dress up and go tehre haha goood timess
But the word is now that a bunch of different types of stores including a grocer type is considering buying the property and putting these stores there was an article in the Omak paper about it.
