Republic Fly-InSat

Saturday afternoon we flew to Republic and enjoyed the dinner and entertainment. The guy that sang is in the second picture. He looks like a real hillbilly but boy could he ever play the instruments.....saxaphone, flute, keyboard, trumpet to name a few. They had about 115 planes fly in from different places so there was a lot of people. The flight over was pretty bad visability because of all the fires going on around here.

What a surprise!

We had a fun time with Sherri, Brianna, Kaisa and Luke and a great surprise when we found out Brendi and Kinlee were with them. We didn't know when we would have ever gotten to see our little great granddaughter, Kinlee. Luke cracks me up with his articulate(sp) talking. He's a sweetie. And I was so happy to see how helpful Kaisa is with him. Sherri just turns him over to her and she takes care of him. Brianna is growing up into a beautiful girl. ( minus the wig....) and Brendi and Brianna almost look the same age. Brendi doesn't look old enough to have a baby. Kinlee was a good baby. I had to keep Christie away from her because Kinlee would crawl to her and she tried to bite her. Anyway, it was a short visit but a fun one. We were sorry Scott and the boys didn't make it though.

Ah, these costumes have gotten their use through the years!

Sarah's visit

I forget that you have to put these on backwards. So I started with the 4th picture down. ANYWAY......we had fun with Sarah here. We don't see her near enough! This is a picture at the park in Cle Elum while we waited for her dad to pick er up.
This is a turtle that Sarah and her friend Alana caught at the river during Farmer's Market. I wouldn't let Sarah go down by the river, so Alana got out on a log and caught it and they played with it for a long time.

Sarah's Visit

We had Sarah here the first part of August. I have been just too busy to put pictures on but I'll try to do some more today. She sure loves our cat Daisy She got to stay 8 days and then we took her to her dad.

Farmer's Market!

THIS IS WALLY GATHERING HIS CABBAGES FOR THE MARKET. HE PLANTED 200 OF THEM, STARTED FROM SEED IN THE GREENHOUSE. PEOPLE LOVE THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE SO MUCH BETTER FRESH. WE HAD ONE OF OUR BEST MARKETS LAST NIGHT IN OMAK BY THE LIBRARY.
