Well, since i haven't posted a picture for a while, I took this picture this morning. That is all the buckets that we had to cover our tomato plants with at night. The last few nights have been cold, especially Monday night. The wind machines ran most of the night. For you city slickers, those are big fans that the orchardists have in their orchards that stir up the air and prevent damage from frost. We think we are getting almost past the really cold nights but we keep our buckets handy. I think we have like 60 tomatoes and 160 cabbage plants to the left in this picture.

It is very close to the average last killing frost date and hopefully it won't make the averages any later but it has been 40 on my theremometer lately at 6am.
